The Hannemahuis
Municipal museum Het Hannemahuis is Harlingen’s memory. It collects, keeps, and presents objects and document regarding the art, culture, and history of Harlingen and its inhabitants. The Hannemahuis is one of the earliest houses in the Harlinger town centre. The building has been used as a museum since 1957. Its interior is still fairly intact. The panelling in the hall is partly from the 17th century and the ceiling in the beautiful anteroom, called “‘t Zaal”, dates from 1825.
